Home Care Assistant / Carer Vacancies 


Full time & Part time positions available in: Fordingbridge, Ringwood, Christchurch, Salisbury, Bransgore, Downton, Verwood, New Forest & Surrounding Areas.

  

Hearts at Home Care Ltd are recruiting for dedicated, reliable and caring individuals to provide person centred care & support to vulnerable adults in their own homes.  


Due to the nature of our work and the areas we cover, applicants must hold a full driving license and have their own vehicle. 


The role is subject to enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Weekend On-Call 

Weekend On-Call means you earn money for just making yourself available to cover sickness. You could earn on-call money as well as money for any care calls you cover plus mileage. If no calls need covering, you earn money for doing absolutely nothing! 

You can earn £25 per day on the weekend just for being available, then calls are paid at your hourly weekend rates. 


Carer on the Month 

Each month we award one of our carers with Carer of the month. You can achieve this by going to the extra mile. Doing the extra mile means, giving service users what they need within the care plans and more, covering wherever possible, supporting your team to learn new skills and trying to be noticed in doing with job roles to fullest.  

The reward is: £10 voucher, plus a file note on your records which could support you within your appraisal for a pay increase or promotion. 


Carer of the Year 

Each year a Carer of the year is voted for by the service users themselves. Each year in December service users are asked to nominate their favourite carer. 

The reward is: First Prize is – 2 night stay in a 5* hotel in the UK  

Second Prize is – 12 bottles of wine 

Third Prize is - £50 Amazon Voucher

Care Coordinator Vacancy 


Full time position - 40hrs per week to include alternate weekends anytime from 7am to 10pm 


Hearts at Home Care Ltd are recruiting for an experienced, dedicated & reliable Care Coordinator for our busy office in Fordingbridge. 


As an experienced Care Coordinator, you should have: 

  · A minimum of NVQ level 3 in Social Care · A minimum of 6 months experience in a managerial / team leading role preferably in domiciliary care · Ability and competency in mentoring, spot checking and observing staff in line with the Care Certificate · Proficient IT Skills including rota planning systems, Word, Excel, email and database software · A full, clean driving license and your own vehicle


Main duties and responsibilities: 

· To represent the company in a professional manner at all times, on the telephone, face to face or in written communication · To ensure that telephones are answered promptly, and people are spoken to in a polite and respectful manner and taking appropriate actions · To liaise with existing clients and maintain positive working relationships with clients · To manage all out of hours emergency calls from our clients and staff (including every other weekend) on a rota basis

· To ensure staff rotas are matched with client’s requirements and staff availability · To complete basic administrative duties (processing time sheets, issuing invoices, filling, photocopying and general office duties as required) · To manage staff rotas · To take on new packages · Interviewing, back to work interview and exit interview · Floating concerns worker  · Managing service user files · Assessments, reassessments and settling assessment  · Check the checker on new packages 

· Managing holidays and sickness  · Spot Checks 

· Supervisions for Carers · Run and organise the staff meetings with their own teams  · On-call 

· Dealing with emergencies  · Competencies · Assessments, re-assessments and settling in assessments · Monitor and update live care plans to involve to full care plan · Build rounds · Champion – medication, moving and handling, health and safety, EOL & Dementia · Caring 


We are looking for a person with highly effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to apply these formally and informally in a variety of situations to build effective relationships with clients and our employees. The successful applicant will be organised and capable of handling a large number of varied calls whilst ensuring that all are progressed to their conclusion. Previous Call Centre or Customer Services experience would be an advantage. Computer skills are essential, as you must be comfortable with multitasking between number of applications.

Home Care Team Leader Vacancy 


Fordingbridge & Surrounding Areas  

Full time position - 40hrs per week to include alternate weekends anytime from 7am to 10pm 


Hearts at Home Care Ltd are recruiting for dedicated, reliable and caring Team Leaders who are passionate about person-centered care and will be an excellent ambassador for the service we provide to our service users. 


As a Team Leader, you should have: 

• A minimum of NVQ level 3 in Social Care • A minimum of 6 months experience in a team leading role preferably in domiciliary care • Ability and competency in mentoring, spot checking and observing staff in line with the Care Certificate • Proficient IT Skills including, Word, Excel, email and database software • A full, clean driving license and your own vehicle 


Main duties/responsibilities: 

• Assessments, re-assessments and settling in assessments • Monitor and update live care plans to involve to full care plan • Build rounds • Champion – medication, moving & handling, health & safety  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users through visits, phone calls & care delivery • Introduce carers to service users • Ensure carers have a good understanding of service users • Monitor and report any Health & Safety concerns • Observe and prepare sign off by the Head of Care of new carers as competent to work alone • Carry out spot checks at appropriate intervals to ensure service is being maintained to a high level • Participate in the on-call system • Provide care to service users as required • Support carers to develop their role and levels of competence within agreed standards • Monitor, mediate and log both service user and carer activity • Implement action to meet and maintain care standards • Attend meetings with other Supervisors, Managers, Head of Care and office staff when required • Work as part of a team of offering support as required in other areas • Carry out any other duties required in the role of Team Leader as appropriate
